What is Annex SL? How does it impact this standard?

ISO has published several standards from 1987 onwards. As the organizations started implementing multiple standards, it experienced some similar clauses but those cannot be integrated.

ISO 14001:2015 is constructed based on the Annex SL concept. It has got 10 clauses. Annex SL is known as a high-level structure. This is created by ISO to provide a universal high-level structure, providing identical core text, and common terms and definitions which is common for all management system standards.
